1. Main Features

Material: Polyurethane (PU), commonly yellow or orange.

2. Precautions For Use 5" x 1.25" yellow polyurethane wheel (Before, During, And After Use)

1) Load and speed limits

Use strictly according to specifications. Do not overload – overloading is the main cause of polyurethane wheel damage. Also avoid operating above the rated speed to prevent overheating and melting of the material, which can cause internal damage.

2) Avoid corrosive chemicals and strong solvents

Avoid contact with corrosive chemicals (e.g., strong acids, strong alkalis) as well as gasoline, acetone, and other strong organic solvents. They will attack the polyurethane structure, causing swelling, cracking, or even dissolution of the wheel surface.

3) Avoid poor floor conditions

Do not use on rough surfaces (e.g., gravel, sharp debris, potholes). Such conditions can cut the polyurethane tread or cause excessively rapid wear.

4) Operating temperature

Ensure the ambient temperature is within the product's specified range (typically -20°C to 80°C). Prolonged use at high temperatures (>80°C) will soften and deform the wheel. At low temperatures (<-20°C) the material becomes brittle and may crack under impact.

5) Regular inspection

Inspect the wheel at least once a week for cracks, chipping, deformation, or embedded debris. If the tread is worn by more than 30% of its original thickness, or if the diameter is reduced by more than 10‑15% due to wear, replace the wheel immediately.

6) Cleaning

After daily use, clean dust and oil from the tread with a dry cloth or soft brush. If oil stains are present, use a mild neutral cleaner (e.g., soapy water), then dry thoroughly. Do not use strong organic solvents such as acetone or toluene for cleaning.

7) Avoid overheating

Especially avoid prolonged continuous high‑speed operation in high‑temperature environments, which can cause the internal material to melt.

8) Avoid impact and obstacle crossing

Avoid running over obstacles or impact loads (e.g., going down stairs, hitting obstacles). Such instantaneous shocks can easily damage the internal structure or cause the polyurethane layer to detach.
