Key considerations during the production process
Although PU material has excellent performance, it is difficult to process. Accurate control of the following key points is crucial in the production process
1. Before production, the raw materials must be thoroughly dried to prevent moisture from causing bubbles in the product.
2. Accurate and stable temperature control must be carried out for each heating zone (especially the mold head) based on the fluidity of the material.
3. The mold  needs to be made of high-quality tool steel and chrome plated, and its size is generally 20% to 30% larger than the finished hose.
4. The cooling method of immersion spray should be adopted, and an improved vacuum sizing system or pre cooling device should be used to ensure dimensional stability.
5. A strict quality control system should be established to conduct full process testing on raw materials, production processes, and finished products, including:
Dimensional measurement: Check the outer diameter, inner diameter, and wall thickness of polyurethane hoses.
Appearance inspection: Ensure that the surface is smooth, free of bubbles, scratches, and other defects.
Pressure testing: Conduct pressure resistance, vacuum resistance, and burst pressure tests.
Performance testing: Evaluate its physical properties such as wear resistance and temperature resistance.
