3/8 inch air line is an important component in gas transportation engineering. In gas transportation systems, the reasonable selection and use of gas pipes can not only improve work efficiency, but also ensure the quality and safety of the production process. At present, the common gas pipes in the market mainly include PU hose and TPU hose. These two types of hose have their own advantages and disadvantages, and different application scenarios have different applicability.

1、 Advantages and disadvantages of pu hose and TPU hose

1). Advantages of pu hose

PU hose material is soft and has strong toughness, excellent tensile and bending properties, good wear resistance, and is not easy to crack in high-pressure environments. It has strong corrosion resistance, light weight, and is easy to install and maintain. It is an ideal choice for many gas and liquid transmission systems.

2). Disadvantages of pu hose

PU hose is prone to hardening in low temperature environments, reducing its bending performance and durability, and is not resistant to high temperatures, making it prone to aging and cracking.

3). Advantages of TPU hose

TPU hose is a high-performance, high-strength gas pipe with good toughness, stable shape, wear resistance, strong tensile strength, high temperature resistance, and resistance to aging and cracking. And its inner wall is smooth, not easy to store sediment, ensuring the fluidity of gas, making it a good carrier for gas/liquid transportation

4). Disadvantages of TPU hose

TPU hose has a relatively high hardness and lower bending performance compared to PU hose, making it difficult to install and repair
