Production process of Polyurethane air hoses
The production process of PU gas pipe generally includes raw material preparation, raw material mixing, extrusion molding, stretching, curing, cutting and packaging.
1. Raw material preparation: The main raw materials for PU tracheal production are polyurethane ether/ester materials, polyurethane crosslinking agents, environmentally friendly additives, anti-aging agents, etc. These materials are measured in a certain proportion and mixed evenly in a mixer after preparation.
2. Extrusion molding: The mixed materials are extruded through an extruder, and after molding, the PU air tube is extruded at a certain speed from the extrusion port. This step requires attention to adjusting the temperature and extrusion speed of the extruder, and developing appropriate extrusion process parameters.
3. Stretching: The extruded PU trachea is stretched under a stretching machine to achieve the required length and diameter. For high demand PU hose, biaxial stretching treatment is required to increase its hardness and wear resistance.
4. Curing: The stretched PU hose needs to enter the curing chamber for curing treatment. The general curing time is 24 hours, during which the physical properties of PU hose will gradually stabilize and reach the optimal usage state.
5. Cutting: The cured PU hose is cut into predetermined lengths for packaging.
6. Packaging: Put the cut PU hose into a bag or box for packaging.
Seasonal hardness selection
Seasonal hardness refers to the hardness requirements that PU hose should have under different environmental temperature and pressure conditions. The seasonal hardness has a significant impact on the service life, elasticity, and wear resistance of PU tube.
When producing PU hose, different hardness requirements are usually selected according to the season. In winter, PU tube usually needs to choose a lower hardness in order to still have good elasticity and wear resistance at low temperatures; In summer, PU tube needs to choose a higher hardness to adapt to high temperature environments and prevent hose aging.
