Precautions During Use the 5" red polyurethane wheel

1.Load and Speed:
No Overloading: Strictly adhere to the maximum dynamic/static load specified by the manufacturer. Overloading can cause excessive deformation, heat buildup, accelerated wear, or even rupture of the wheel.
Speed Limits: Avoid using the 5" red polyurethane wheel at speeds exceeding the rated limit (e.g., on fast-running conveyor lines). High-speed friction generates significant heat, which may soften the polyurethane material, cause adhesive failure, or lead to melting.

2.Working Environment:
Temperature: Polyurethane wheels are sensitive to temperature. The recommended operating temperature range for standard polyurethane is typically between -20°C and +60°C. At low temperatures, the material becomes hard and brittle, making it prone to cracking under impact. At high temperatures, it softens, leading to accelerated wear. Select wheels with a suitable temperature range based on specific product specifications.

3.Ground Conditions:
Keep Clean: Avoid prolonged use on surfaces littered with sharp metal chips, gravel, or glass shards. Although polyurethane is tear-resistant, sharp objects can still scratch or embed into the material.
Chemical Exposure: Avoid contact with strong acids, alkalis, or organic solvents (such as acetone, esters, concentrated sulfuric acid, etc.), as they can corrode polyurethane material.
Oil and Water: Polyurethane has certain oil and water resistance, but prolonged immersion in oil or water may affect its performance and cause the wheel core (e.g., cast iron or aluminum core) to rust. After use in damp environments, wipe the wheels dry promptly.

4.Installation and Operation:
Proper Installation: Ensure the axle diameter matches the specifications of the wheel bearing (e.g., ball bearings, precision bearings). Install securely, tighten the lock nut appropriately without over-tightening, to avoid damaging the bearing or impeding smooth rotation.
Smooth Operation: Avoid sharp turns, sudden pulling, jerking, or dropping from heights. Improper lateral impact can easily cause the wheel flange to crack or the wheel core to deform.

5.Regular Inspection: Before use, check the wheels for visible cracks, severe wear, deformation, or bearing jamming. Wheels that do not rotate freely will increase pushing resistance and accelerate wear.

6.Compatibility:
When using multiple wheels simultaneously, ensure they are of the same model and have similar wear levels to prevent equipment imbalance or overloading of individual wheels.
